Geared towards the exploration of Panama’s ecological and cultural diversity, this easy going 10-day small-group tour is great for adults as well as private groups of four or more. Along with our master naturalist guide, you discover Panama’s wild side when hiking the World Heritage Site of La Amistad, a place where the flora and fauna of North and South America mix, and when paddling a kayak on a Panama Canal tour (look up for howler and spider monkeys!). And when it comes to getting to know local culture, there are plenty of opportunities on this itinerary to discover and meet the people of Panama: explore the local industries of orchids, sugar and coffee by visiting farms and having lunch with the farm operators; visit the independent San Blas Islands and the Kuna people, and tour Panama City to experience a contrasting metropolis from World Heritage Sites and rainforests to a busy downtown district full of modern skyscrapers.
This was a great adventure and I had a wonderful time. I really think that I will return in beautiful Panama to discover other parts of the country. We had a wonderful guide, Mahelis who did everything in her power to satisfy everybody and to make our voyage a great and memorable adventure.
