Our Royal Rajasthan India tour exemplifies the splendor of the Rajput and Moghul age, and contemporary life in urban and rural Rajasthan. We explore the bazaars, historic forts and palaces, and narrow city streets of Delhi, Jaipur, Udaipur, and in the Blue City of Jodphur we are also guests in a local home for lunch. We stay in majestic forts in the desert to gain insights of daily life among Bishnoi and other rural Rajasthani communities walking, by jeep or optional horseback. Our royal India adventure begins with the Moghul architectural masterpieces of the Taj Mahal, Red Fort and Fatehpur Sikri. Everyone was wonderful to us and the hotels you selected were absolutely fabulous. The Samode Havelli in Jaipur is one of the nicest hotels we've been in anywhere.
