Trip Notes:

In some cases, certain rooms or suites outlined may no longer be available at the time of booking. If this occurs, we will reserve alternative accommodation of equal caliber. If such rooms are not available, we may have to immediately upgrade you in order to secure a quality room or suite, especially if availability is limited. We can usually absorb this cost but if it is up to 10% of your trip price, we'll discuss options with you before confirming any changes. Some roads in Morocco are narrow and windy in mountain passes. Secondary roads are unpaved. Therefore, driving speeds in rural areas are slow. Driving times indicated from point to point between cities and regions on this trip vary due to conditions and stops and can be up to 8 hours on the longest day from Fez to Erfoud. Times estimated are total time including planned stops, not just time sitting in the vehicle. One way to slow the pace and enjoy an extra day between driving for relaxation and exploration is to add an extra night in the Valley of the Kasbahs in the middle of the itinerary.

"TRULY, TRULY, you have outdone yourself, again. It is almost impossible for me to put into words what I experienced. While traveling with Wildland touch with nature and/or culture, it is traveling in opulent style, but not ostentatious or pretentious; the riads were unbelievable. In Fes, when we pulled up to the fancy hotel, I was like, oh wow! Then my guide said you're not staying here but in a riad, and proceeded to walk with me down narrow, not that well-lit streets to a big brass door. We walked in......and of course my jaw hit the floor. How unbelievable......and every place we stayed was of equal grandeur in its own way." - Cathy Grey
