Wildland Adventures' Uganda safaris are skillfully crafted to create journeys full of unforgettable experiences. Led by our experienced local guides and trackers, venture deep into the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest, home to half of the world's population of mountain gorillas and designated as a World Heritage Site. Viewing gorillas in the wild is a breathtaking and humbling encounter. Traveling through this country, you’ll discover Eden-like wildlife sanctuaries and local, gracious hosts. Part of our Uganda vacation will include breathtaking visits to Queen Elizabeth National Park, a place that protects woodland habitats and attracts big game like elephant, buffalo, hippo, leopard and lion, and Kibale Forest, a refuge for chimpanzees and a dozen other primate species. And because Uganda has been largely undiscovered by other travelers, our introduction to the natural wildlife of this region is undisturbed and the native tribes are delighted to introduce us to their culture and into their villages.

Professional, naturalist Uganda travel guides, with extensive knowledge of their country’s wildlife and culture, and are proud to lead our luxury African safaris and create fun and personal exchanges for us within local markets and villages and, if we’re lucky, even take us home to meet mom. Along the way, we’ll stay in intimate and comfortable tented camps and lodges, encouraging interaction with villagers and maximizing our exposure to the surrounding game areas. All Wildland safaris in Uganda support the Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International.
