Kambaku Safari Lodge

Kambaku Safari Lodge is an intimate lodge located in the Timbavati Private Reserve. Taking its name from one of the “Magnificent Seven” tuskers who roamed the area, Kambaku lies in a natural wilderness overlooking a waterhole.

The eight thatched chalets at Kambaku are designed to reflect cool calmness and include four- poster beds with classic draped mosquito nets in every room. There are en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath, overhead fans, lanterns for the evening (minimal electricity supplied) and each chalet has its own veranda with views to the waterhole. The main lodge is a balance between open plan and private space, with a spacious bar and lounge area leading to the mezzanine floor and small library. The soaring thatch roof catches the summer breeze and the furnishings are comfortable. There is a verandah, swimming pool, boma, curio shop and Wi-Fi hot spot.
