Kelsey Wenger

Kelsey was raised in Boston and contracted the travel bug quickly, going international by age 2. She left the east coast to explore the other side of the United States (and find some taller mountains and better snow) for college, attending the University of Puget Sound where she majored in International Business. The vast majority of her adult life was spent abroad, as she constantly sought out new ways to study and travel internationally on her own. She has lived, studied and worked throughout SE Asia, Peru, Argentina, and the US and has traveled extensively throughout Europe, South America and Asia.

Kelsey worked with a non-profit focused on women’s empowerment in the quaint town of Ollantaytambo in the Sacred Valley for close to a year. She also explored the mountains of Patagonia, worked on an organic farm outside Mendoza, and learned how to knit presents made of alpaca for all her friends and family. Her passion for the culture and natural landscape of South America was cemented in her first trip there and it has only continued to grow since then. In her free time Kelsey is an avid rock climber, skier, sailor, and backpacker so she loves finding new ways to explore and preserve the majesty of nature in every country she visits.
