Featuring expert Maasai mountain guide, Kambona Mollel
Wide World Books and Maps -
Seattle, WA - May 13, 7:00pm
Plan an East African safari that fits your interests and travel style. From Kenya and Tanzania to Uganda and Rwanda, Wildland Adventures' Africa specialists take you on a safari of wildlife viewing in diverse habitats and among native cultures including game drives in National Parks, gorilla trekking, hiking with Maasai warriors and climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro. Senior climbing guide, Kambona Ole Tirra Mollel, will speak on summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro-the "Roof of Africa"-something he has done over 100 times. A native Maasai, Kambona was raised on the Tanzanian savannah where he gained a deep knowledge of the natural world and has since worked as a master safari guide. Our specialists will also present a range of accommodations from different styles of camps to distinctive safari lodges and boutique beach hotels. We'll share our personal experiences in the bush and our conservation work protecting wildlife and supporting native Maasai culture.
