Knowledge is Security: Report from Uganda

By Phil Ward

Uganda has not been directly affected internally by terrorism or the current war. Airport security has always been good at Entebbe...all bags including carry on and checked bags are screened and X rayed before check in. Bookings were down for abotu a year after 2001, but new bookings a once again filling our rosters. The U.K. and U.S. travel advisories were relaxed. I honestly feel that Uganda is safe for tourism and I don't believe ism is a concern.
