The prestigious Academy of Natural Sciences of Philadelphia has chosen Wildland Adventures to operate its first-ever Andes Amazon Odyssey to Ecuador. This trip, part of the Academys Expeditions For Everyone program, celebrates the recent opening of its popular Secrets of Amazonia exhibit. Academy scientists are internationally recognized as some of the first experts to research, document and photograph many of the 500 birds found in Ecuadors Amazon region. With a minimum of 10 passengers, an Academy staff member will lead this special tour. Wildland Adventures travelers are invited to join this expedition, which includes a city tour of Quito, 4 nights at the remote Kapawi Jungle Lodge, and an overnight stay at an exquisite hacienda near Otavalo, minutes away from the famous Indian market.
