Inca Trail Reopens
May 25, 2006 - As of Friday, May 26 the Inca Trail authorities (INC) will re-openthe last portion of the Inca Trail after clearingrecent landslides. The closure had affected the final day of the 4-dayhike and trekkers were re-routed from Winay Wayna to Aguas Calientes. Trekkers will once again be able to complete the trek and enter Machu Picchu through the Sun Gate.
