A Personal Invitation and a few Trip Notes from Bob & Diane
Join us on one of our upcoming Wildland Photographic Adventures with to Tanzania, Galapagos or Peru. We're always looking for a few people with a great spirit of adventure who want to see nature at its best, get to know local people and their traditional cultures and to travel with other easy going companions who appreciate these adventures of a lifetime.
On our photography trips we enjoy working with the serious amateur to point-and-shoot photographers including spouses or travel companions who will also have a wonderful experience even without camera in hand. Like any other Wildland Adventures, we know that understanding the environment and the local culture you are photographing by traveling with an expert local guide, only enhances our photography skills. But above all, we have fun. And, we have a lot of repeat participants; many have become close friends on past trips and then travel together on future adventures.
We continue working with local Wildland guides who understand our needs as photographers and assures that every moment of every day is as good as it can be for the best photo opportunities. The difference on a photo trip compared to other Wildland Adventures might simply be that we get up earlier or stay longer in the field for the best light, and we might linger longer in a particular place if we feel something significant might happen that is too good to pass up!
For us, the bottom line has been that Kurt and Anne Kutay at Wildland have insisted that when they send travelers to a place they create benefits through travel; they are not content with only minimizing their impacts. They have consistently launched programs that benefit both natural resources and local peoples in ways that show respect for nature and dignity of the locals. This approach closely parallels our own and made it easy to allay ourselves with Wildland Adventures to set up some of our own photographic adventures.
Working with the experts at Wildland and seeing how their committment to quality runs deeply through the staff - has made it fun to piece together opportunities to travel with many of you.
