Argentina Travel Guides
We are associated with the most professional
and experienced local naturalists and
professional guides in Chile and Argentina.
The Best of Patagonia is led by top naturalists,
research biologists and conservationists.
Ricardo Lagiard and Ana Jones'
passion for learning and teaching is reflected
through their skill and enthusiasm as
among our most highly praised guides in
the world. Ricardo managed a safari company
in South Africa and now they operate their
own guide service in the Peninsula Valdes
where they accompany Wildland clients
and teach the trade to local residents.
Marcelo Beccaceci is a Veterinary
MD who studied manned wolf ecology in
Argentina. He is a local associate of
The Natural Conservancy. Our trekking
guides in Torres del Paine include Robert
Noonan, an ecologist and certified
river guide on the Grand Canyon with over
10 years experience leading treks in Patagonia.
Guillermo Cuellar is a Venezuelan with
over 10 years experience in Patagonia.
He is our leading naturalist and a keen
birder, having worked with the World Wildlife
Fund to protect endangered species. Ken
Parker, Ph.D., has a doctorate
in oceanography and leads our Tierra del
Fuego sea kayak expeditions.
