Discover the untamed splendor of Alaska’s vast wilderness interior, coastal marine environment, massive glaciers and great grizzly bears. Traveling by shuttle, plane, helicopter and boat, local guides take you off the beaten track to experience a true, authentic Alaska. Hike through the lowlands of Denali National Park (home to grizzly and black bear, moose, caribou, wolves and more), and ‘Heli-hike’ on the extraordinary glaciers flowing from the Juneau Ice Field. Rustic wilderness lodges in Denali and Glacier Bay National Park offer warmth within the wilds of Alaska and naturalist-led talks in the evenings introduce you to the ecosystems, wildlife and geology of America’s Last Frontier.
We loved hiking on the glacier at Juneau, whale watching in Glacier Bay, really everything. Camp Denali was great. We loved the close family atmosphere and felt like we were important and belonged. The staff was very welcoming and made a point to get to know us.
