East > Jordan > Season
and Climate
The
climate in Jordan varies throughout the year according to
seasons. Spring and autumn are generally the best times
to travel, when the sun is warm and skies are clear. You
can expect mild to hot temperatures and little or no rain
during this time. Summers are very hot and dry, with temperatures
ranging in the 90ºs-110ºs F. Winter is cold and
rainy, and it is not unusual to see snowfall in the highlands,
including Amman, during December and January. Hiking trails
are sometimes closed after heavy rainfall. |
