Discover Victoria Falls, one of the seven natural wonders of the world. Called Mosi-oa-Tunya in the indigenous language, "The Smoke That Thunders" marks the place when the mighty Zambezi River crashes over an cliff of rock both higher and wider than Niagara Falls. On this three night exploration you can enjoy a guided visit to the Falls, a sunset cruise and wildlife watching. There are daily flights from Johannesburg, the air hub for travel in Southern Africa.

DAY 1 :  LIVINGSTONE, ZAMBIA

Make your way to Johannesburg International Airport this morning in time for your flight to Zambia. Your adventure begins as you are met and warmly greeted at Livingstone airport. Transfer in to your lodge and have the afternoon free to relax by the pool or take a sunset cruise on the river. Overnight at Toka Leya or similar. [LD]

Victoria Falls from a light aircraft scenic flight.
DAYS 2-3 :  VICTORIA FALLS, ZAMBIA

Today you will visit Victoria Falls with a guide. Stand in the spray during an early morning or late afternoon visit when the light glows through the thick mist. Today you can take your first game drive in the Mosi-oa-Tunya National Park, enjoy a visit to a local village, fish for tiger fish, or book one of the many adventure activities that the area is known for (at additional cost). Options include elephant back safaris, white water rafting on the Zambezi (age limit 15 years), microlight flights, bungee jumping, and jet boat excursions. Overnights at Toka Leya or similar. [BLD]

DAY 4 :   DEPART

Enjoy a leisurely breakfast and perhaps see some swimming elephants from the deck before your transfer by road to Livingstone airport. [B]
