direct you away from crowded tourist sites
to more remote and pristine environments.
Wildland Adventures in Belize are appropriate
for all ages, interests and abilities.
Accommodations vary from rustic to luxury
and they are always clean, comfortable
and well managed. We prefer thatched-roofed
jungle lodges and beachfront cabañas
that are characteristic of the local culture
and environment. Our native Creole and
Maya guides combine their knowledge of
tropical ecology, archaeology and Belizean
tradition with creative and spontaneous
leadership ensuring your trip will be
an informative and uniquely authentic
experience.
To ensure an authentic and intimate experience
we maintain very small size groups, with
a maximum of twelve guests. Our scheduled
small group departures and custom trips
are planned to include a balance of ruins,
reefs and rain forests. Itineraries are
designed to meet the interests, abilities
and schedule of our travelers. A flexible
level of physical activity each day includes
naturalist walks, day hikes, snorkeling,
bird watching, wildlife viewing, photography,
and ambling among Maya ruins. More ambitious
optional activities may also include mountain
biking, canoeing, kayaking, fly-fishing,
or SCUBA diving. Many travelers, especially
those who SCUBA, extend their stay on
the Caribbean coast at a beachfront cabaña.
