Family travel to Belize is full of discovery
and adventure among the ruins, reefs and
rainforests! Our Creole guides, Sam and
Esperanza, captivate young visitors (and
their parents and grandparents) by showing
them how to identify birds, where to find
wildlife in the rain forest, recounting
legends of ancient Maya rulers, and introducing
our guests to the diverse cultures and
native peoples of Belize. Your family’s
first night is an authentic village experience
at Sam’s Guest House in the Crooked
Tree Nature Sanctuary. English is the national
language so cross-cultural exchange is
easily facilitated during roadside stops
and excursions among the villages. The
tranquil Caribbean waters protected inside
the barrier reef are a haven for novice
or experienced snorkelers to walk from
the shore of a deserted caye into a fantastic
underwater world.
