Adventure Vacations from the Experts

Exploring Antarctica means traveling enormous distances. It requires time, a rare luxury in today's world, to do it right. It takes not only highly specialized knowledge, but also experience to do it safely. On our itineraries, you explore with the outfitters, guides and crew that pioneered expedition travel to the Antarctic Peninsula. They know the region thoroughly and have been coming here longer than any other cruise operator. Guests not only see more of Antarctica, they experience more: more daily Zodiac landings, more kayak adventures, and more "field science" than any other cruise can provide. A team of on board expedition leaders, naturalists, biologists, geologists and polar specialists, each an expert in his/her field, provide informative lectures and are always available for questions and casual conversation. An undersea program of live divers with cameras, a remotely operated vehicle, hydrophone and a video microscope reveal another Antarctica under the ice. Meals are served in the view dining room and consist of fresh, healthy and sophisticated choices prepared by an expert European chef. An "open bridge" policy and welcoming captain and crew allow guests to observe navigation through the ice pack.
