M.S. Endeavor

The M.S. Endeavour is named after one of Captain James Cook's famed ships, which carried him around the world on his great voyages of exploration. Unlike its namesake, an informal atmosphere and many amenities set a pace of comfort and relaxation aboard today's Endeavour. Some of the amenities include a lounge with bar and facilities for films, slide shows and lectures, library, swimming pool and fitness center. Meals are served with unassigned tables, allowing you to meet staff and fellow travelers. Cabins are above waterline and face outside with windows or portholes. Each has private facilities (including a radio and climate controls). Several cabins include twin beds, which can convert to a double bed, and some cabins may accommodate three people. The ship is ice-reinforced, fully stabilized, complies with international regulations of Safety of Life at Sea (SOLAS), and operates with the latest satellite communications.

The Antarctic Dream has been completely conditioned and remodeled in 2003 for elegant and comfortable exploration.

The Antarctic Dream

The Antarctic Dream was built by Dutch shipyards for the Chilean Navy as an Antarctic passenger ship. It is equipped with 42 double cabins with capacity of 84 passengers. Uniquely among all the ships that take expeditions to the Antarctic, it has a helicopter deck. The turbine helicopter is there for safety but also to make special expeditions to see inaccessible locations. Two over-flights are included with the cruise! Zodiac boats are also used for expeditions into the ice channels.

All cabins have private bathroom, port-holes or windows and lower twin or queen size beds.

The Antarctic Dream is equipped with state of the art navigation and has an outstanding record of service and safety, including countless missions and journeys to Antarctica and Patagonia. It runs using ecological methods, fulfilling all the Antarctic restrictions on the the deposit of chemicals and waste. The 40 crew members on board will see to it that you have a smooth and comfortable experience on board, with plenty of time to explore outside of the vessel as well.
