Lake Burunge Tented Camp is located only ten minutes away from Tarangire National Park.
The camp consists of twenty luxury tents with en suite facilities, located in a bushland
grove. Spectacular views of Lake Burunge can be seen from the camp. The main building
offers a central lounge, bar and dining area with a raised wooden deck. This elevated
platform is the ideal venue for guests to relax and enjoy a drink as the sun disappears
over the lake, or to simply sit and enjoy the warm fire place. The camp provides many
activities for guest to enjoy, throughout their stay. These include guided nature walks,
a bush dinner or lunch, and ballooning over the lake. In addition, cultural activities
are available. Interaction with the local Mbuwge in their markets, visits to the local
Datoga village, and walking safaris with the Mbuwge are among these cultural activities.
