Cape Cadogan Hotel
The Cape Cadogan is a stately Georgian and Victorian manor that dates
back to the early 19th century. It was originally a farmhouse that was
converted to a Victorian manor in 1912 and declared a national monument
in 1984. Cape Cadogan is well known for its comfortable, luxurious
atmosphere and its bohemian-chic style. The reception area is designed
for comfort and tranquility, and public areas comprise a welcoming
lounge with an open fireplace, a garden and pool area, and a library
where you can relax and read or enjoy a cup of tea. The 12
well-appointed en suite bedrooms are decorated with an eclectic mix of
contemporary and antique furniture, dramatic fabrics and lots of warm,
natural light. The hotel is located adjacent to the popular Kloof Street
with its many cafes, restaurants and bars.
