Governor's Camp

Comfortable tents offer all the comforts of a modern hotel room.

Secreted deep within the Maasai Mara National Reserve, Governor's Camp sits in the forest along the curving banks of the Mara River. Bordering a waterway filled by snorting hippos and wading crocodiles, this site was once reserved for Kenya's Colonial Governors. Today, many of the 38 tents line the river, with the rest boasting sweeping views of the Mara Plains. Each tent is equipped with en-suite bath with hot water and flush toilet. Enjoy meals overlooking the Mara plains, as well as candlelight dinners and chats around the bonfire.

Candlelight evenings are spent looking over the Mara River and listening to hippos.   Enjoy chats around a cozy fire with other guests at Governor's Camp
