Sitting above a bend in the Talek River, at the confluence of the Maasai Mara's four
game-viewing areas, the Mara Intrepids camp enjoys one of the most spectacular locations
in the entire Mara ecosystem. Intrepids is a short drive from the Mara River, where up
to 1.5 million wildebeest and zebra make their migration crossing every July and August.
Mara Intrepids consist of 30 elegant tents with spectacular views along the river's bank.
Each tent is designed with large four-poster beds, classic safari furniture, modern
en-suite bathrooms and verandas overlooking the river. The large outdoor dining terrace
creates the perfect setting for guest to relax and enjoy the classic, home-cooked
cuisine in the open air. In the afternoon, enjoy a swim in the free-form pool. Services
the camp provides include a boutique with safari essentials, email, fax, telephone and
postal service. The camp offers three daily game drives to experience the African
wildlife and scenery. Dine in the morning with bush breakfasts and in the evening
enjoy delicious a meal under the stars. Consider an unique sunrise adventure floating
over the African plains on a hot air balloon safari.
