Hacienda Cusin is the perfect
romantic getaway for a night or a week |
Founded in 1602, Cusin was converted in 1990 into a country
inn of beautifully decorated guest rooms, suites and garden
cottages, its history preserved and its ambience respected.
Cusin is located in the sierra (8,000 ft), in the province
of Imbabura and on the outskirts of the village of San Pablo
del Lago and its two mile crater lake. Cusin's white walls
and terracotta tiles nestle beneath a deep blue sky in a wide,
pastoral valley. Amenities include acres of fragrant and colorful
gardens, hiking trails, horseback riding, mountains bike rentals,
a squash court, a games room with ping-pong, darts, billiards
and maps, a young children's play area, a projection television,
selected video films, and a tranquil library and a reading
room, both with fireplaces.
