At Hotel Fonda Vela there are 40 spacious rooms complete with private hot water baths. The two restaurants feature home style and international cuisine with charming ambiance. Hike through the property near wild avocado trees, a favorite food of the Resplendent Quetzal. Just 20 minutes uphill is the Monteverde Cloud Forest Reserve.

International meals are served in the dining area next to picture windows overlooking the cloud forest.		Designed with natural light and privacy in mind, rooms feature dark hardwoods and paintings by local Monteverde artists.
