Xigera Camp (pronounced Keejera) is a tented camp situated within the
Moremi Game Reserve.
Raised on wooden platforms and walkways, the ten tented rooms each
have en suite facilities, an outdoor shower, and a spectacular view
of the floodplain to the east of the camp and its attractive waterhole.
Meals are enjoyed in the dining room overlooking the main river, which
along with the pub and lounge area are under thatch. This beautiful

is raised off the ground and raised walkways connect the bedrooms to
the central living area. With permanent water all year round you can
explore the
Okavango Delta
through a variety of activities including foot safaris, mokoros, game
drives and boating trips in total privacy. Guests are sometimes
treated to up close viewing experiences of lion and leopard, which
use a unique wooden footbridge to get from the Xigera Camp's island
to the next!. Birding in the area is excellent, including the elusive
Pel's fishing owl and a host of eagles, vultures and raptors. The
area also has the highest density of the rare Sitatunga antelope
found anywhere in the Okavango Delta.
