elegant camp on Chief's Island.
Surrounded by exotic ebony and sausage trees on the southern tip of Chief's Island in the middle of the Okavango Delta, Stanley's Camp provides an intimate, breathtaking setting for an ideal Botswana safari vacation. Eight classic safari tents are set on raised wooden platforms and are each is decorated in a traditional African style, with hand crafted beds, fine linen and antique furniture. Each tent provides en suite facilities and a private balcony to observe the stunning landscape from your room. Relax in front of this gorgeous view on a comfortable hammock or lounge chair on your verandah. Bordering the southern section of the famous Moremi Game Reserve, game viewing in the area is excellent. The area houses one of the largest buffalo populations in the Okavango Delta. Popular activities include guided walking safaris, mokoro excursions (water levels permitting) and exciting night drives.
