Mombo Camp is the most well-known camp in Botswana. One of the top documentary locations in all of Southern Africa, Mombo is reknowned for the high concentrations of Cape buffalo, lion, leopard, rhino and cheetah Located on Chief's Island in the heart of the Moremi Reserve, Mombo plays host to massive elephants and delicate steenbok, each finding their own niche between the acacia forests and the floodplains covered with green grass. The camp has just nine enormous raised tents set along high walkways allowing game to wander freely underneath. Each room has en suite facilities and additional outdoor shower for those who enjoy bathing under the African sun. Each room, the lounge area, sala and long verandah all take advantage of the beautiful view that the Okavango Delta has to offer. Open vehicle game drives make the most of your Botswana safari adventure, with expert naturalists illustrating the interactions of the Chief's Island ecosystem.
