Hosteria Alta Vista

“The most outstanding day was the glacier trek at Perito Moreno and the estancia Wildland booked for us. We'd return to Alta Vista in a heart beat. The estancia hosts and the charm of the facility were overwhelming.”

– M. & D. Weiss, Best of Patagonia

  Hosteria Alta Vista
Hosteria Alta Vista allows visitors to experience life on a working Patagonian estancia.
The elegant Hosteria Alta Vista is located on the 165,000-acre Estancia Anita-a working ranch with 22,000 head of sheep. The Hosteria has been painstakingly restored to its original charm and offers just seven en suite rooms complete with claw-footed tubs and wrought iron beds. Every afternoon guests take tea in the parlour and evening cocktails are served at the cozy bar. Service and cuisine at Alta Vista are exceptional, truly some of the best in Patagonia. Estancia Anita affords a prime location between the town of El Calafate and the Perito Moreno Glacier. Guests have full use of the facilities and can hike, horseback ride, fly fish or explore the nearby Los Glaciares National Park.
