Located in the stunning Liwonde National Park, Mvuu Camp is the ultimate Malawi safari destination, teeming with wildlife and luscious vegetation along the Shire River. Arrive at this remote safari camp by boat from Liwonde town and begin your safari adventures immediately with the excellent chance to see both game and birds among the ever-changing vegetation. Mvuu Camp consists of 12 stone and canvas chalets with luxury amenities. A thatched dining room and lounge area benefit from a magnificent view of the Shire River nearby. You may even opt for a dinner under the stars in a specially constructed boma. Popular activities at Mvuu Camp include nature walks and bike rides, as well as boating trips along the Shire River and game drives to observe the exotic African animals of the Malawi wilderness.
