Romantic Kaya Mawa is located on Likoma Island in the northeastern portion of sparkling Lake Malawi. This idyllic island is covered with huge baobabs and surrounded by white sand beaches and rocky coves. The beautiful natural surroundings have been incorporated into the lodge to create a very special character and ambience. The stone and teak framed thatched cottages and honeymoon chalet, feature en-suite bathrooms with sunken stone bathtubs and four poster beds. Leisure time is spent swimming, snorkeling, diving, and fishing the lake waters, biking and walking around the island and visiting the cathedral and local market in the harbor village.
