"We loved every minute on board the gulet, swimming in the Mediterranean, sleeping on deck, mooring in a quiet and secluded Simena and near Gemilar Island. The extra trip to Xanthus and Tlos was spectacular as we arrived very
early in the morning in time for sunrise over the ruins." |

Join one of our small groups this Fall to Turkey and Morocco for an initiation into exotica. Intrepid travelers seeking the enticingly different and unusual have always been drawn to these lands of rich architectural tradition,
Medieval cities and fortresses, and Roman, Greek and Byzantine ruins. Pulled in many directions by encroaching contemporary influences both in time and space, a rich cultural heritage prevails through elaborate handicrafts, age-old land
cultivation, colorful bazaars, and the genuine hospitality and exotic cuisine of native people and village life. Our in-depth explorations of history and culture through the lives of present inhabitants lifts the veil on two societies
balanced between an enchanting past and the changing times of the modern world. |
