Join us for a special presentation with Wildland Adventures' senior climbing and walking safari guide, Kambona Ole Tirra Mollel, one of the most experienced and well equipped guides on Mt Kilimanjaro. Kambona will be speaking about walking safaris in Tanzania and summiting Mt. Kilimanjaro - the "Roof of Africa" - something he has done over 120 times!
A native Maasai, Kambona was raised on the Tanzanian savannah where he gained a deep knowledge of the natural world and has since worked as a master safari and trekking guide. He is trilingual and speaks fluent Maa, Kiswahili and English. Before suffering a knee injury, Kambona was a world-class marathon runner preparing for the Olympics. Gregarious by nature, Kambona enjoys sharing his knowledge about the flora and fauna of Africa, history of Tanzania, and the traditions of his people.
