The Pakaritampu Hotel (meaning 'house of the sunrise' in the Quechua language) was built according to the architectural style of colonial Cusco. This Peru hotel is comprised of four independent buildings surrounded by an acre of landscaping with a variety of local plants and flowers. Two buildings accommodate 20 simple and charming rooms each with warm wood finishes and picturesque balconies. The other buildings house a reception area with internet access, restaurant, reading room, and a gift shop. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the train station and the ruins and town of Ollantaytambo. Situated in the southern end of the Sacred Valley of the Incas, the Pakaritampu Hotel is conveniently located to access workshops, restaurants, and other sites of interest in the Urubamba Valley.
