Karina was born in Guayaquil and lived in the Galapagos islands for many years, she studied at the State University of Guayaquil, where she received her bachelors degree in Tourism and Hotel Management. She is now studying for her Masters degree in Administration of Leadership in Education at the Technical University of Loja. Karina is a Dive Master and guides not only in the Galapagos Marine Reserve but also in mainland Ecuador. Her passions are water activities and photography, as well as sharing the beauty of her corner of the planet.

Born in 1981 in Quito, Gaby spent her early years in Ecuador before moving to Chicago, IL for her junior and senior years of high school. She holds a bachelor’s degree in National Tourism Guide & Tourist Business Administration from the University of Tourist Specialties UCT Quito - Ecuador. Gaby has been guiding for seven years, which has given her the opportunity to meet people from different countries, work in amazing environments, and share her knowledge of the natural areas of Ecuador. She has completed additional coursework in fauna, flora, geology, and history of the Ecuadorian Andes. In her spare time Gaby is a bowler, having the opportunity to participate in many national and international tournaments.

Roberto Palacios is a native-born Quiteno, and learned his love of tourism from his father, who was a tour guide throughout Roberto’s youth. Roberto’s personal international travels dramatically altered his global perspective, prompting him to dedicate himself to the study of English and learning more about the various inhabitants of this wide world. His father’s untimely death thrust Roberto into a position of responsibility for his family, and he returned to Ecuador, where he settled into teaching English. Roberto’s deep love and compassion toward his country, coupled with his innate teaching abilities well-prepared him for the next step in his professional development, studies at the prestigious Universidad de Especialidades Turisticas. As a well-regarded tour guide, Roberto proudly represents the beautiful country of Ecuador and its diverse people, cultures and natural wonders to visitors from throughout the world.

Antonio was born and raised in Quito. Exposed to adventure and cultural tourism at an early age, he was inspired to study at Cenestur (Instituto de hoteleria y turismo) where he became a tour guide . His vast knowledge of Ecuador, together with his meticulous dedication to each and every itinerary, guarantees a wonderful and seamless adventure. Antonio loves his country and he´s so proud to have the biggest office in the world which is his beautiful Ecuador. In addition, he relishes learning from guests about their homelands and traditions. He has a profound knowledge of Ecuador and his positive spirit and enthusiasm make it a delight to explore Ecuador. When he´s not working, Antonio loves to hike and bike in the Andes with his family or go birding
