Jorge Moller

Jorge Moller has always been dedicated to nature and cultural tourism and frequently guides our clients in the Lakes District. He started his own company in 1990 and is a pioneer in the area of agrotourism and ecotourism. Jorge is Director of Turismo Chile, one of Chile’s major tourism organizations and was a founding member of Chile’s adventure travel regulatory organisation (C.A.T.A.). Jorge regularly participates as a negotiating consultant for the Santiago Convention Bureau, Puerto Varas Convention Bureau and is a Member of the South American Chapter of the Society of Incentive Travel Experts (S.I.T.E.)

Eduardo Tapia

Born and raised in Punta Arenas, Eduardo has worked as a Torres del Paine and Patagonia guide all of his adult life. He was drawn to EcoCamp because of the high standard of guides and treks offered. A specialist in geology and ornithology, he enjoys introducing visitors to the region´s flora and fauna and teaching about Patagonia’s natural wonders. His favourite activities are rock climbing and ice climbing and he’s proud to make a living trekking, horse-riding and rock climbing through the Patagonian mountains. He never sets off on a circuit without a good first aid kit and the desire to impart his trekking wisdom to clients.

Loreto Vasquez

A native of Puerto Natales, Loreto became an EcoCamp guide in 2010, attracted by the company's ecological sustainability focus. In her first season she really enjoyed leading motivated groups around the park on the active treks, many of whom had a lot of trekking experience and kept her on her toes! Her favourite place in the world is Torres del Paine and her passion for nature keeps her trekking and guiding in the park with a smile everyday. Loreto’s favourite place in Torres del Paine is Valle Frances and her favourite time of year is winter because she finds the climate stable and colours magical. Her favourite dish among the hearty Chilean food served in the evenings at EcoCamp is Cazuela. She likes learning from guests, and fondly remembers the time a very special senior couple taught her to appreciate nature from their wise perspective.
