Sukh Mahal Palace Hotel, Bundi
Situated on the edge of Jait Sagar, popularly known as Sukh Sagar, and nestled in the majestic wilderness of Aravali hills, The Sukh Mahal Palace Hotel was used as a summer palace by the Maharajas of Bundi State. British writer Rudyard Kipling stayed here in 1892 apparently finding inspiration for his book 'Kim' during his stay. This is a wonderful period boutique hotel. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, room service, tour desk, 24 hour reception, laundry and dry cleaning service, AC, currency exchange etc. The two Suits rooms –the SukhMahal suite & Kipling suite - are designed with comfort and serenity in mind. The design of the suites is based on the traditional Indian art with warm colors & textures of local Rajasthani hand block print textiles and adorned with traditional artifacts considered most beautiful in India. All rooms are equipped with AC, coffee / tea maker and en suite bathrooms.
