Lalgarh Palace

The imposing sandstone Lalgarh Palace was constructed by Maharaja Ganga Singh Ji in 1902 as a perfect example of Indo-Sarasenic architecture. Designed by Sir Swinton Jacob as a perfect blend of Mughal, Rajput and European architecture, it has retained much of its heritage value; exquisite period furniture and chandeliers, latticework and wood paneling blend with all modern fittings and facilities.
