Situated in the granitic outcrops and forested hills of Matobo National Park, Amalinda is one of the best lodges offering guests access to this small but interesting national park. The lodge consists of nine individually thatched rooms which are set into the huge boulders, so you're room's walls are actually part of rocky outcrop. The lounge and public area is designed as a bushman shelter with a panoramic view of the Matobo Hills. Delicious family style meals are served on a massive teak log table in the al fresco dining area. A cozy library contains some of the old African safari classics, along with premium liquors and wine connoisseurs appreciate the natural cave cellar. Sundowners are served around a warm fire in the African boma area and massage and other treatments are offered at the Heritage Spa.
