Pafuri Camp

Pafuri Camp is situated on a gentle bend on the northern bank of the Luvuvhu River in South Africa's Kruger National Park shaded by large ebony trees. The 20 East African styled tents have en suite bathrooms and are built under a shaded canopy with elevated boardwalks. Spread out along the river bank in East and West 'wings', the camp is furnished in colorful fabrics made locally by the Makuleke community. This luxury safari camp is situated within the Makuleke Concession, the largest private concession in northern Kruger National Park where the borders of South Africa, Zimbabwe and Mozambique meet. It is scenically diverse from the rest of Kruger National Park with its unique bird-watching opportunities and large herds of buffalo, hippo, white rhino, lion, leopard and elephant. The Pafuri Wilderness Trail is a spectacular alternative for exploring this area of South Africa on foot.
