Kambaku Safari Lodge is an intimate lodge located in the Timbavati Private Reserve. Taking its name from one of the “Magnificent Seven” tuskers who roamed the area, Kambaku lies in a natural wilderness overlooking a waterhole.
The eight thatched chalets at Kambaku are designed to reflect cool calmness and include four- poster beds with classic draped mosquito nets in every room. There are en-suite bathrooms with a shower and bath, overhead fans, lanterns for the evening (minimal electricity supplied) and each chalet has its own veranda with views to the waterhole. The main lodge is a balance between open plan and private space, with a spacious bar and lounge area leading to the mezzanine floor and small library. The soaring thatch roof catches the summer breeze and the furnishings are comfortable. There is a verandah, swimming pool, boma, curio shop and WiFi hotspot.
