Hotel Roha, Lalibela: Just outside of town, the Hotel Roha offers a peaceful location surrounded by bougainvilleas. Water is scarce in Lalibela and guestrooms are often rationed a bucket of water for flushing toilets and washing hands during hours when water is not available from the tap. Spacious public areas, a shop and terrace for enjoying drinks are available. En suite rooms are clean and comfortable, although more basic.
