The M/V Evolution combines 1920's elegance and style with modern day comfort and safety.
The 210 ft Galapagos expedition ship is one of the most popular vessels among guests
who appreciate the special ambiance of a classic small ship with the space and amenities
of a completely renovated and modern Galapagos yacht. The Evolution features a lounge with
bar and facilities for lectures, presentations and films, and a library with a wide range
of books, movies and games. Two spacious sundecks are lined with beautiful rattan furniture
and you will enjoy stargazing at night in the hot tub on the bow. Meals are served buffet
style in the dining room and al fresco dining area. Kids dishes, vegetarian menus and
special diets are available upon request.
Capacity / Accommodations:
Galapagos cruising aboard the Evolution accommodates up to 32 guests in 16 stylish cabins
each with private bath, dual-temperature shower, individual air-conditioning controls and
plenty of space so you feel like you are on a small Galapagos ship. Three A-Cabin Suites
are located on the uppermost Boat Deck, 8 C-Cabins on the Main Deck, and 6 D-Cabins are
on the Lower Deck Each cabin is cleaned twice a day. Bed configurations are flexible as
lower double or twins. Prices vary according to cabin category and deck location.

Accessible by an interior hallway, spacious C-Deck Cabins feature comfortable beds configured as full double or 2 twins, sitting chair, storage closet, and small windows. |
Crew and Amenities :
Your Galapagos adventure aboard the Evolution is professionally operated by eighteen crew
members, a special Galapagos tour leader, and naturalist guides trained and licensed by
the Galapagos Islands National Park Service and the Charles Darwin Research Center to
assure enjoyment on your Galapagos vacation. Other amenities include an air renewal system,
boutique, and an infirmary with a MD on board at all times. Snorkeling equipment, wetsuits,
and kayaks are provided. The Evolution also offers a unique perspective on your Galapagos
trip by carrying clear acrylic sea kayaks for 'glass-bottom' glimpses beneath the calm seas.

Safety and Environment:
Galapagos cruising on the Evolution ensures your comfort and safety while protecting the
integrity of the fragile Galapagos Islands environment. She complies with all current
ISM (International Safety Management) regulations and is equipped with an emergency
alarm system, 3 emergency life rafts for 26 pax each, emergency life vests, fog horns, a
PA system, smoke detectors, a sprinkler system and fire extinguishers. All emergency
equipment is SOLAS (Safety of Life At Sea) certified.
