Beluga

The Beluga is a deluxe steel hulled motor vessel built in 1968 in Hamburg, Germany.

 

 

 

Capacity / Accommodations:

16 passengers in 8 double staterooms,each with private bath. Hot and cold water showers.

Specifications:

  • Length: 110 feet
  • Beam: 23 feet

Equipment:

Twin M.A.N. Diesel 650 HP each with 3 generators:1 M.A.N. 220 KW, 1 Ford 60 KW and 1 Perkins 40 KW all for 110 and 220 AC 60 cycles. VHF and SSB marine radios, depth sounder up to 2000 Mts., 48 mile radar , G.P.S , 2 tenders with outboards, 2 ten-man inflatable rubber rafts in fiberglass capsule. TV and VHS video system. Fully air-conditioned, 2 desalinates with capacity for 400 gallons / day, freezer and refrigeration.

Crew:

Captain, multi-lingual naturalist guide, cook, machinist, barman and 4 sailors.
