and a licensed naturalist guide trained by the Galapagos Islands National Park and Charles Darwin
Research Station to assure enjoyment on your Galapagos vacation. Snorkeling gear, kayaks, and wetsuits
are available on board.
Safety and Environment:
The Alta Galapagos yacht operates to ensure the comfort and safety of passengers and works to protect
the integrity of the fragile Galapagos Islands environment. She complies with all current ISM
(International Safety Management) regulations and is equipped with an emergency alarm system, emergency
life rafts and life vests, smoke detectors and fire extinguishers. All emergency equipment is SOLAS
(Safety of Life at Sea) certified.
