Vessels > Cahuella
Constructed in 1998 and specifically designed
to navigate the breathtaking fjords of Central
Chile, Cahuella is named after a mythical
dolphin who accompanies the ghost ship El
Calueche, protecting wildlife and good souls.
The vessel combines comfort with reliability
and a crew dedicated to presenting a spectacular
experience to their fortunate passengers.
Four cabins accommodate 8 guests, 3 with
upper/lower berths, 1 with a double bed.
Guests share 2 bathrooms with hot water
showers. There is also a cozy dining room
offering the best in fresh Chilean seafood
and produce, accompanied by excellent Chilean
wines.
The crew consists of a Chilean Navy certified
captain, First Mate and machinist, gourmet
cook and English-speaking naturalist guide.
Cahuella carries full liability insurance
coverage offered by Cruz del Sur, the largest
firm in Chile.
