She is based in the Wildland Adventures’ field office in San Jose, Costa Rica which allows her to frequent trips throughout the region to explore her native country and the surrounding region, inspect new ecolodges, discover the best wildlife viewing opportunities and to stay in close contact with our guides to plan authentic opportunities for our travelers to meet local people and learn about daily life beyond the wildlife reserves and local beaches. After living several years in the United States Grettel gained valuable insight into planning Costa Rica travel vacations for active and inquisitive American travelers. She is a great listener who understands each traveler’s personal interests and style, particularly catering to Costa Rica family vacations and family travel to Central America.
